It is a wonderful way to begin acclimatizing to the high altitude of Cusco City and get ready for a trek if you have booked one. The four ruins (Tambomachay, Puca Pucara, Q’enqo, and Sacsayhuaman) are also just above Cusco City and therefore the tour is easily completed in half a day. This tour is very popular and though quite touristy, there is plenty of open space in which to explore the large ruin sites. It is one of our most favorite tours offered and we personally rate it as a must not miss experience.
